Thanks to the guys from Targus, I have a go at using the fashionable 10.2-inch Crave TM Netbook Case and the Spruce Backpack that is designed for the eco-conscious.

First up is the Spruce Backpack . Chic and in a black design and with green accent stitching, it is a perfect fit for up to 15.6-inch laptops, making it really easy when I inserted my chunky 15-inch into the laptop compartment of the backpack. Unlike some laptop bags, there is a fastener over it to keep it in place and in a tight fit.

Seeing that the sturdy Spruce Backpack is so capacious and I barely filled it up, I placed a second laptop in followed by even more of my accessories into the front compartment. 2 laptops, 1 portable hard disk, 1 small compact camera, 1 wireless mouse and a few usb cables later, there is still room.

The Crave TM Netbook Case is my personal favourite since I had just bought a spanky new netbook recently. The case fits all 10.2-inch netbooks which is roughly the standard these days.

With its colourful blue exterior and vivid green interior, the case reminds me of those plush ski jackets. I think keeping the netbook warm may not be too important but keeping it dry is always a concern when you are choosing a bag for your computer.

The Crave TM Netbook Case is made of durable, water and stain-resistant nylon material with a scratch resistant microfiber interior. I was caught in a heavy rain yesterday but my netbook survived and was still dry. That really made my day as I was struggling to keep my netbook out of the rain; the last one crashed because of the rain.

The Crave TM Netbook Case is going for S$55.90 and can also be found at Micro Interface Pte Ltd, Funan DigitaLife Mall #05-09 and selected retailers.

All Targus cases are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
